Korean PDRN

Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, and this page describes only what the site actually does today.

What we collect

  • Newsletter and check-in sign-ups: your email address, your first name if you give one, where you signed up from, whether you ticked each consent box, the time you ticked it, the exact wording you agreed to, and a private code that powers your unsubscribe link.
  • Correction reports: your message, the page it relates to, and an optional email address.
  • Search terms typed into site search, stored without any identifier linking them to you.
  • Outbound link clicks, recorded without your IP address or full browser user agent.
  • Account data, only if you choose to create an account: your email and your saved preferences.

Interactive tools: the PDRN Reality Check

Everything you answer in the PDRN Reality Check stays in your browser. Answers are held in the page itself and in your browser's session storage, and are cleared when you start again or close the tab. We do not receive them.

Nothing about your skin type, your skin's current condition, your routine, your budget, or whether you have a diagnosed skin condition or use prescription treatment is ever sent to our servers, our database, our analytics tools or any email provider. The reason a safety message appeared is never transmitted either.

The only things that leave your browser are anonymous counters recording that a check was started or completed, and which of the five public verdict names was shown. These carry no identifier and cannot be linked back to you. If you use the share button, only the verdict name and the page address are shared — never your answers.

Newsletter and the 6-week check-in

These are two separate permissions and we never treat one as the other. Ticking the newsletter box signs you up to the weekly research email. Asking for the 6-week check-in sends you three messages about the product you were considering, and nothing else. You can have either without the other, and no box is ever pre-ticked.

Your subscriber record can contain only: your first name if you gave one, your email address, where you signed up from, whether you gave newsletter consent, when you gave it, the version of the consent wording shown to you, whether you asked for the check-in, when the record was created, and the date you unsubscribed if you have.

Nothing you answered in the PDRN Reality Check is attached to that record. Your skin condition, reactivity, skin concerns, routine, budget, prescription-treatment answer and your verdict are never sent with the form and are never linked to your email address.

We keep subscriber records for as long as you stay subscribed, and delete them within 30 days of an unsubscribe or a deletion request. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link and a preference link where you can keep one type of email and stop the other. If our email service is unavailable, sign-up forms close and no address is collected at all.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data. We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to measure site usage at an aggregate level, and no advertising tracker is installed on this site.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. A contact address for these requests has not yet been supplied by the site owner and will be published before launch.

Data controller

The legal entity operating this site has not yet been confirmed, so we are not naming one here rather than publishing an inaccurate controller.
