Content standards

How we produce, label and correct content on this site.

Review types

Every product review and article is labelled with a review type — independently tested, editorial research review, ingredient analysis, retailer-data summary, community-trend summary, or sponsored — so you can see how it was produced before you read further.

Evidence bounds

We describe what ingredients and formulations may support, based on published research and manufacturer data, using language such as "may support" or "commonly used to". We do not claim a product treats, cures or prevents a condition, and we say when evidence is limited or formulation-dependent.

No fabricated data

We do not invent products, prices, offers, ratings, reviews, studies, authors or certifications. Where we do not have verified data, the page says so with an honest empty state rather than filling the gap.

Editorial scores

Our editorial score is a transparent, weighted total across named categories. Categories that have not been assessed count as zero and add an uncertainty penalty rather than being treated as average — see our review methodology.

Affiliate independence

Some retailer links earn us a commission. This does not change the price you pay and does not influence which products we cover or how we score them — see our how we make money page.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, tell us through our corrections process. Verified factual errors are fixed as a priority and material corrections are noted on the page.
