Anua

Products we have researched

  • Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner product photographEditorial research review
    Not yet scored

A watery, fragrance-free heartleaf toner designed to add light hydration after cleansing. It layers easily and is more suitable as a comfort and hydration step than as a treatment for a medical skin condition.

  • Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil product photographEditorial research review

A lightweight first-cleanse oil that dissolves sunscreen, makeup and excess surface oil, then emulsifies with water. It is best used as the first stage of an evening double cleanse rather than as the only cleanser.

  • PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Booster Toner product photographEditorial research review

A watery hydrating toner combining salmon-derived sodium DNA with humectants, panthenol and hyaluronic-acid/collagen components. It is intended to remove post-cleansing tightness and prepare the skin for later layers.

  • PDRN 100 Hyaluronic Acid Glow Pads product photographEditorial research review

Dual-textured, essence-soaked toner pads designed for quick hydration and glow-focused skin preparation. They are primarily a hydrating convenience format rather than an exfoliating treatment.

  • PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Capsule 100 Serum product photographEditorial research review

A lightweight salmon-derived PDRN capsule serum with several forms of hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, collagen and glutathione. It is primarily a hydrating and glow-focused serum, not a proven substitute for prescription treatment or procedures.

How we research Anua

We currently track 6 published products here. Every entry is compiled from manufacturer ingredient disclosures, published cosmetic science literature and UK retailer listings. We do not run clinical trials, and we do not publish a product until its formulation details have been checked against a source we can cite.

  • Formulation: INCI lists, key actives, fragrance and alcohol status where the brand discloses them.
  • Evidence: what the published research suggests for the key ingredients, and what it does not establish.
  • UK availability: retailer listings and prices, with the date each was last checked. Where a price is not recent enough to quote, we say “check latest price” instead of guessing.

Results from cosmetic products are formulation-dependent and vary between people. Read our review methodology, browse the ingredient explainers or compare options in the comparison tool.

How to read this Anua page

This page is an orientation to how Anua formulates and which of its products we have researched — not an endorsement of the full range. Korean skincare brands tend to specialise around a small number of ingredient families and routine steps, and recognising that pattern is usually the fastest way to decide whether a brand is worth your time at all. We currently hold 6 published product pages for Anua, covering toners, oil cleansers, moisturisers and serums. Anything the brand sells outside those steps has not been researched here yet, and its absence is not a judgement on it. The brand is recorded as originating in South Korea.

What we assess on each Anua product

Formulation character:
the actives and supporting ingredients that recur across the products we hold, and the skin types those tend to suit. Where a brand relies on humectants and barrier lipids it will read very differently from one built on high-percentage exfoliating acids.
Disclosure quality:
whether a full INCI list, size, packaging format and usage guidance are published. Poor disclosure caps how confidently anything can be assessed, and we record that as uncertainty rather than filling the gap with an assumption.
Routine placement:
where each product sits in a morning or evening order, so you can see whether the brand covers the step you actually need rather than duplicating one you have already solved.
UK availability:
whether the product is reliably purchasable in the UK. Prices move constantly, so we point you to the current retailer listing instead of quoting a figure that may be stale.

Using this page well

  • Start from the routine step you are trying to fill, not from the brand name — the product cards above show the step each item belongs to.
  • Change one product at a time. Swapping a whole routine to a single brand makes it impossible to tell which item helped and which caused a reaction.
  • If you are sensitised, read the relevant ingredient guide before buying; tolerability is formulation-dependent and varies between people.

Ordering and inclusion are editorial: no brand can pay to be listed here or described more favourably. Our commercial arrangements are set out in how we make money, the scoring components are published in the review methodology, and you can compare Anua products against others with the comparison tool or browse every researched brand on the brands index.
